Note / A personal experience gave rise to a new series of works, for which Van Warmerdam used De klap from 2007. An emotional blow is accepted in a universal and abstract way, which she has dealt with five times in the photo series De klap voorbij, namely in red, white, red again, blue and yellow. With this, she departs from the idea that her personal life is irrelevant in her art.
