Note / MvW: ‘For the glass work Hopla I began by making a drawing on paper. In both the drawing Split spiral and in Spiral it is possible to recognize something of what I wanted to achieve in Hopla that is no longer present in the final glass work. Here, it is a double spiral motion authorized and framed in 2009.’
